Is the gold and silver hallmarked?
Yes. Our solid 9ct gold and 925 sterling silver are independently hallmarked at the London Assay Office, certifying their precious-metal purity.
Can I engrave a message on the back of my star map necklace?
Yes. The front carries your star map and the back can be engraved with your own message of up to 15 characters, such as a name, date or initials.
What chain length and pendant size do I get?
Every star map necklace comes on a 46.5cm chain, with a choice of three pendant sizes: 15mm, 20mm and 25mm.
Can I wear my star map necklace every day, and will it tarnish?
Yes, every piece is made for everyday wear. Our stainless steel and solid 9ct gold will not tarnish or rust. Sterling silver and vermeil can develop a natural tarnish over time, which polishes back to a shine with a soft cloth.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Our stainless steel and black stainless steel necklaces come with a lifetime warranty: if the chain, clasp or pendant ever fades, rusts or develops a fault through normal wear, we will replace it. Precious metals (gold, vermeil and silver) hold their intrinsic value and are covered separately, and any fault found on arrival is always replaced.
