Personalised Star Map
The exact alignment of the stars on your moment, calculated from real astronomical data and printed on museum-grade paper. The thoughtful, lasting gift for the moments that matter.
What is a Personalised Star Map?
A star map is a precise snapshot of the night sky from a specific date, time, and location on Earth. Every star, every constellation, every line of light is calculated from real astronomical data — not generic illustrations or templates.
At Picture the Stars we've been refining this craft since 2018. Pick a moment that matters — the night you met, the day a child was born, the evening you said yes — and we generate the exact stars that stood above you, individually, in real time. No two maps are the same.
Then we print it on 285gsm museum-grade art card with archival pigment ink, ready to hang and ready to last generations.

Crafted to Last
Museum-grade materials. UK printed. Designed to outlast the moment they celebrate.
285gsm Art Cardstock
Our paper is a heavyweight 285gsm fine-art card with a smooth matt finish. Acid-free and lignin-free, FSC certified from sustainably-managed forests, it's the same stock used by galleries for archival prints. Resistant to yellowing for 100+ years under standard display conditions.
12-Colour Archival Ink
Printed on award-winning Canon giclée printers using a 12-pigment archival ink system. Wider colour gamut than standard CMYK, deeper blacks for the night sky, and certified fade-resistant. The same process used for fine-art reproductions in museums and galleries.
Premium Framing
Choose from Natural Oak, classic Black, or Pure White solid wood frames. Each is hand-built to fit your chosen size, with anti-glare acrylic glazing (lighter and safer than glass), ready-to-hang fittings, and a red gift ribbon included as standard.
Five Print Sizes
From A4 (perfect on a bedside table or desk) through to XL (a statement piece over a sofa or bed). Each size is calculated to maintain perfect star clarity at viewing distance, with sizing guidance built into the editor.

Absolutely beautiful
I bought this as a 10-year anniversary gift and my husband was speechless. The detail is incredible and the frame quality is genuinely museum standard.
A keepsake forever
Got this for my parents on their 40th. They both cried when they opened it. The print is gorgeous and arrived perfectly packaged.
Best wedding gift I gave
Found this looking for something different for my best friend's wedding. She has it hanging above their bed. It's a proper heirloom.
